TianTong is the first Chinese law firm that adopts the “moot court” method to rehearse the hearing, through which to perfect the team's  trial performance and anticipate  risks in high-value complex cases. We invite internal and external legal experts to attend the rehearsal hearings and serve as “judges” to hear the case and give their comments.

After the rehearsal, we would usually provide the hearing transcripts, a risk evaluation report, a visualized chart reflecting the legal relationship and key facts, a record of deliberation among the "judges", a copy of the hearing video, proposed solutions, and so forth to our clients, regardless of whether or not we are instructed to act for them.

TianTong is the first Chinese law firm that started and insists on using  visualization tools, i.e. to reflect complex legal relationship and key facts in charts or diagrams. This strategy proves to be an effective way of helping the clients and courts to understand the legal relationship and key facts in complex cases.

TianTong lawyers have been invited to present to Chinese judges about this tool. Some Chinese courts have adopted the tool and require lawyers to include visualized charts as part of their case submissions.

We invest in know-how management which consists of three tiers:

(i) after every case is closed, we would prepare a case report including the basic facts , lawyers' working notes, key evidence and legal correspondence,  and have the report archived;

(ii) we have stored more than 20 million court judgments and court orders as big data, based on which we draft case notes and articles published through TianTong's Wechat platform; and

(iii) our know-how management team has been committed to producing unique “Case Keys” to facilitate case research via collating, reviewing, analyzing, categorizing and editing the published court judgments and court orders. Based on that, we have published a series of case books titled “TianTong Code”.
